100 MIDWEEK GOALS

Just under half of us picked up some goals this week as we are now looking at beating that highest midweek score of 136 goals set by Daryl Nicholls in the 2016/17 Season. This week we now have a total of thirteen players that are on or over the 100 goals mark. In the lead this week we have SANSA-CLARA-LYANNA with Brentford, Manchester City and Watford and DEAN ZANIOUS with Brentford, Manchester City and Oxford United both with a total of 109 goals each. MICHAEL JACOBSON with Bournemouth, Celtic and Manchester City is still in second but now with a total of 108 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had just forty-five of our teams that played over the weekend and out of them, seventeen failed to score any goals. This meant that we had a really rubbish weekend for goals as thirty-nine players failed to pick up any goals this weekend. The average score for this weekend fell down from eight goals of last weekend to just 1 goal this weekend. The highest score that we had over the weekend was just three goals and we had three teams that picked them up. They came from BOURNEMOUTH, MANCHESER UNITED and OXFORD UNITED.

FA CUP Semi-Finals

We had three of the four teams left in the FA Cup and out of them two are through to the finals. They are CHELSEA as they beat MANCHESTER CITY 1-0. STEVE REEVE has remained at the top again this weekend as I picked up a just two goals at the weekend. It’s now eleven weeks in a row at the top for me this week. My teams are Brentford, Manchester City and Rangers. The good news, well to me it is, is that I have at long last started to climb up our Champions League. This weekend I have beaten Phil Mocklers 1989/90 score of 263 goals. I have a long way to move up any further. Michael Fisher is still in second place as he picked up five goals at the weekend. Michael is now just five goals behind me this week. His teams are Manchester City Manchester United and Rangers.

At the other end at 116 we still have John Nicholls who has now been there for seventeen consecutive weeks. Johns teams picked him up a total of five goals from his combo of Bristol City, Fulham and West Brom.

Just a bit of a change round this weekend, so here are the top ten.
