Easter Bank Holiday Monday Results

In the Championship after a three game dry spell for goals, second place BOURNEMOUTH won 3-0 away to Coventry to take their goals tally to 73. BARNSLEY lost 2-0 at home to PETERBOROUGH and that is their twentieth blank of the season. Peterborough are on a total of 42 goals. CARDIFF lost 1-0 at home to Luton to pick up their sixteenth blank of the season. It’s 40 goals for HULL after they lost 2-1 away to Millwall. DERBY lost 1-0 away to QPR and they have now had a total of fourteen blank score sheets and are relegated to league one. READING drew 4-4 at home to SWANSEA. Reading with their highest score of the season are now on a total of 55 goals and a goal run of seven games. Swansea are now on a total of 62 goals. SHEFFIELD UNITED drew 1-1 away to Bristol City to pick up goal number 58. NOTTINGHAM FOREST won 4-0 at home against WEST BROM to take their goals tally to 74 goals while West Brom picked up their eighteenth blank of the season. 

In League One WYCOMBE drew 1-1 away to AFC Wimbledon and they are on a total of 77 goals. BOLTON have now scored in all of their last six games as they win 3-1 at home to Accrington. Bolton are now on a total of 73 goals. LINCOLN CITY won 3-0 at home against Cheltenham and are now on a total of 55 goals. PORTSMOUTH drew 1-1 away to Morecambe and they are on a total of 64 goals. PLYMOUTH drew 0-0 at home to SUNDERLAND and picked up their tenth blank and now three in a row. Sunderland also picked up their tenth blank of the season. 

In League Two EXETER are still our highest team in this league in second place after they lost 2-0 away to Tranmere. Exeter have now had a total of eleven blank score sheets.  CARLISLE UNITED won 1-0 at home against Mansfield and are on a total of 40 goals after they failed to score in their last two games. SALFORD CITY drew 2-2 at home to Barrow and they are no won a total of 60 goals. Relegated SCUNTHORPE drew 1-1 at home to STEVENAGE. Scunthorpe after a dry spell of four games picked up goal number 27. Stevenage are on a total of 46 goals. SUTTON won 1-0 at home to Newport and they are on a total of 67 goals.  SWINDON lost 2-1 at home to Leyton Orient and they are on a total of 73 goals.
