English League and Scottish Cup

In the Premier League CRYSTAL PALACE drew 1-1 at home to Brentford and they are on a total of 8 goals and a goal run of five games. FULHAM won 2-1 at home to BRIGHTON and they are on a total of 8 goals while Brighton hit goal number 9. CHELSEA lost 2-1 away to Southampton and they are on 6 goals while LEEDS UTD drew 1-1 at home to EVERTON. Leeds are on a total of 11 goals while Everton are on 5. 

In the Championship SHEFFIELD UTD won 4-0 at home to READING and have now taken their goals tally to 14 goals and they have now scored in all of their last six games. Reading picked up their 3rd blank of the season. NORWICH won 2-1 away to Birmingham and they are on a total of 13 goals. Norwich have now scored in all of their last eight games. BURNLEY won 2-0 at home against Millwall and they are on a total of 14 goals and a goal run of five games. LUTON won 2-1 away to Cardiff and they are on a total of 8 goals. WEST BROM drew 1-1 away to Wigan to pick up their 12th goal of the season. WATFORD won 2-1 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH and they are now on a total of 8 goals. Brough are on a total of 10 goals. 

In the Scottish League Cup second round we had two of our teams in action. They were ABERDEEN who won 4-1 away to Anna after extra time. Aberdeen have now scored in all of their last five games and have a total of 28 goals. RANGERS won 3-1 at home to Queen of the South. Rangers have scored in all of their six games now and have a total of 17 goals.

Week Five

Here we are with Week Five of the competition we had our seventh winner of the season not only did they collect the full £5 weekend jackpot but they also won the £65 Beat the Score of 18 goals. The current holder was Mark Rymer who picked up 18 goals in our 1998/99 Season in Week 29 at the weekend. They came from Arsenal 5, Celtic 7 and Rangers 6.

Our winner was SIMON DICKINSON who won not only on our highest score of the season but our highest score in our entire 40 year history with a record breaking total of 23 goals. This brings his winnings total to £70 this weekend. Simon started with Golden Goals back in the 2002/03 Season and I thank him for his long time support. Last season he finished in 103rd place with a total of 214 goals. He has started off well this season winning so much in one weekend. We congratulate him on his win. His teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

It was SANDRA NICHOLLS that picked up the most goals in midweek with six. They came from Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Leicester City who failed to score in their game. Who is in the lead for our 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot worth a total of £40 this week.

It has changed in the running for the top five and once again there are a few more that have now joined in the race for the cash this week. In the lead we still have LUCIFER (John Wood) with a total of 18 goals. In second place we now have HAYLEY ADKINS and STEVE AYRES both with 14 goals. In third place with 13 goals each we now have GUY DOWSETT (1) and RICKY WOOD our 2007/08 Champion. In fourth place we now have PETER PORTER and TERENCE WARWICK both with 11 goals. In fifth place we now have a total of eight players all with 10 goals each. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had another full fixture at the weekend and we had just two teams with no game over the weekend with another ten of our teams that failed to score any goals. We had a really crazy weekend for goals as our average score shot up from just four goals last weekend to 13 goals this weekend which is the highest this season. So if your combination picked up more than that, then you have done very well this weekend.

The Highest score over the weekend was 9 goals and they came from the Premier League LIVERPOOL winning 9-0 at home to BOURNEMOUTH and in the Scottish Premiership where CELTIC won 9-0 away to Dundee Utd. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

History has been made after LIVERPOOL won a staggering 9-0 at home to BOURNEMOUTH. Liverpool are now on a total of 13 goals and a goal run of four games, while Bournemouth picked up their 3rd blank of the season. ARSENAL are still top this weekend after they won 2-1 at home against FULHAM. Arsenal have now scored in all four games and are on a total of 11 goals. Fulham picked up goal number 6. Still two points behind Arsenal are MANCHESTER CITY after they won 4-2 at home to CYRSTAL PALACE. City are now on a total of 13 goals and have also now scored in all of their four games. Palace are on a total of 8 goals. EVERTON drew 1-1 away to Brentford and they are on a total of 4 goals. BRIGHTON won 1-0  at home against LEEDS UTD and they are on a total of 8 goals while Leeds picked up their first blank of the season. CHELSEA are on a total of 5 goals after they won 2-1 at home to LEICESTER CITY. Leicester picked up their 6th goal of the season. MANCHESTER UTD won 1-0 away to Southampton and they are on a total of 4 goals. WEST HAM are now on the score sheet after they won 1-0 away to ASTON VILLA. West Ham failed to score in their first three games so it’s a relief that they have started their season. Villa picked up their 2nd blank score sheet. TOTTENHAM won 2-0 away to Nottingham Forest and they are on a total of 9 goals and a goal run of four games. NEWCASTLE drew 1-1 away to Wolves and are on a total of 8 goals. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

READING are top here after they won 1-0 away to Millwall and they are on a total of 8 goals. Sheffield Utd are down to second place. HUDDERSFIELD drew 2-2 at home to WEST BROM and they have taken their goals tally to 8 goals. They have also now scored in all of their last five games. West Brom are on 11 goals. MIDDLESBROUGH won 2-1 at home to SWANSEA . Brough are on a total of 9 goals while Swansea are on 7 goals. SUNDERLAND lost 1-0 at home to NORWICH to pick up their 2nd blank of the season. Norwich have now scored in all of their last seven games and are on a total of 11 goals. After a two game dry spell for goals, WATFORD are on 6 goals as they lost 3-2 at home against QPR. BURNLEY picked up their biggest result of the season by winning 5-1 away to Wigan. Burnley are now on a total of 12 goals. 

LEAGUE ONE

IPSWICH are down to second place after they drew 2-2 at home to Barnsley. Ipswich are now on a total of 12 goals. With their biggest result of the season, SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are now on a total of 17 goals after they won 5-0 at home to FOREST GREEN. Forest Green picked up their 3rd blank score sheet and now three in a row. BRISTOL ROVERS drew 1-1 at home to Shrewsbury and they are on a total of 8 goals. OXFORD UTD won 2-1 away to Cheltenham and are on a total of 7 goals. DERBY won 2-1 at home to PETERBOROUGH to take their goals total to 8 while Borough are on 15 goals. LINCOLN CITY drew 2-2 at home to Fleetwood and they are on a total of 11 goals. MK DONS picked up their biggest result of the season as they win 4-0 away to Morecambe. The Dons are now on a total of 10 goals. PLYMOUTH won 2-0 at home to Bolton and are on a total of 10 goals. CHARLTON drew1-1 away to Wycombe and they are on a total of 12 goals. 

LEAGUE TWO

The highest team that we have here are SALFORD CITY now in fourth place after they won 1-0 at home to Stevenage. Salford are now on a total of 11 goals and have a goal run of five games. AC WIMBLEDON lost 1-0 at home to second place Barrow and that is their 3rd blank of the season. BRADFORD drew 0-0 at home to Crewe and that is their 3rd blank score sheet. GILLINGHAM lost 1-0 away to Carlisle and they have picked up six blank score sheets and now no goals scored in their last five games. CRAWLEY TOWN drew 1-1 away to Rochdale and they are on a total of 6 goals. STOCKPORT COUNTY drew 1-1 at home to SWINDON and they are on a total of 8 goals while Swindon hit goal number six. SUTTON UTD won 2-1 at home to MANSFIELD TOWN and they are on a total of 5 goals after a two game dry spell. Mansfield are on 10 goals. 

SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the Premiership CELTIC have remained on top after they picked up their biggest result of the season by winning 9-0 away to Dundee Utd. Celtic are now on a total of  21 goals and still have that 100% scoring record after five games played. RANGERS are in second place as they won 4-0 at home to Ross County.  Rangers have kept their 100% scoring record and they are now on a total of 14 goals after five games played. ABERDEEN won 5-0 at home against Livingston and they are now on a total of 24 goals and back up to third place. HEARTS won 3-2 at home against St Johnston and they are now on a total of 10 goals. HIBERNIAN lost 1-0 away to St Mirren. That is their 2nd blank of the season after a goal run of six games.

In League One ALLOA won 5-0 at home to Peterhead. Alloa with their biggest result of the season have taken their goals tally up to 16. KELTY HEARTS lost 1-0 away to Montrose. Kelty picked up their 7th blank of the season and now just one goal in their last six games with three blank score sheets in a row.

In League Two, new boys BONNYRIGG ROSE are now in second place after they won 1-0 at home to Stirling. Bonnyrigg pick up their 13th goal of the season. STENHOUSEMUIR won 2-1 away to Forfar and they are on a total of 12 goals.

Our Best performing team are now CELTIC as they have now scored in all of their five league games played and have a total of 21 goals. 

Our worst performing team is KELTY HEARTS this weekend as they have picked up seven blank score sheets out of nine games played. 

Our highest goal scorers in our 40th Season are now CELTIC who won 9-0 away to Dundee Utd in the league and LIVERPOOL who won 9-0 at home to Bournemouth in the league both from Week Five.

SIMON DICKINSON becomes our second player to stay at number one this weekend after he picked up a total of 27 goals from the week. Simon’s teams are Celtic, Liverpool and Sheffield Wednesday.  Simon is just one goal in front of Hayley Adkins who moves back up to second place this weekend collecting a total of 19 goals this week from Aberdeen, Liverpool and Manchester City.

At the other end at 108 we still have MANDY WRIGHT who has now been there for three weeks. Mandy picked up just four goals this week with Bournemouth, Swansea and West Ham.

More Carabao Cup Second Round Results

 

In the second set of games for the Carabao Cup second round, we had another four of our teams in action. Out of them three have made it through to the next round. They are LEEDS UTD who won 3-0 at home against Barnsley. That has taken Leeds goal tally up to 10 goals. NEWCASTLE won 2-1 away to Tranmere and they are on a total of 7 goals. BRIGHTON won 3-0 away to FOREST GREEN. With their biggest result of the season, Brighton are now on a total of 7 goals. Forest Green picked up their 2nd blank score sheet and now two in a row.


Carabao Cup Second Round Results

 

In the first batch of the Carabao Cup second round games we had a total of twenty-one of our teams in action and out of them only thirteen have made it through to the next round. Here are all the results with our teams in BOLD.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are through after they won 3-0 at home to Rochdale. Wednesday are on a total of 12 goals. BURNLEY won 1-0 away to Shrewsbury and that is goal number 7 for them. LINCOLN CITY drew 2-2 after the full 90 minutes against Barrow away and then went on to win 3-1 on penalties. Lincoln are on a total of 9 goals. ASTON VILLA picked up their biggest result of the season by winning 4-1 away to Bolton. Villa are now on a total of 7 goals. After a two game dry spell for goals, DERBY are on a total of 6 goals as they won 1-0 at home to WEST BROM. West Brom picked up their 2nd blank of the season. EVERTON won 1-0 away to Fleetwood and they are on a total of 3 goals. STOCKPORT COUNTY drew 0-0 at home to LEICESTER CITY but lost 3-1 on penalties. After a goal run of six games, Stockport picked up their first blank of the season. Leicester also picked up their first blank score sheet. CHARLTON won 1-0 away to Walsall and they are on a total of 11 goals. The shock of the night goes to CRAWLEY TOWN who beat FULHAM 2-0 at home. Crawley are on a total of 5 goals while Fulham picked up their 2nd blank score sheet. GILLINGHAM drew 0-0 after the full 90 minutes of play and then won 6-5 on penalties against Exeter at home. Gillingham have now had five blank score sheets in seven games. They have failed to score in their last four games. NORWICH drew 2-2 at home to BOURNEMOUTH after the full 90 minutes, which took their goals tally to 10 goals and they have now scored in all of their last six games. Bournemouth are on 4 goals after a two game dry spell. Bournemouth went on to win 5-3 on penalties. CRYSTAL PALACE won 2-0 away to OXFORD UTD and they are on a total of 6 goals. Oxford picked up their 3rd blank of the season. MK DONS won 2-0 away to WATFORD and they are on a total of 6 goals while Watford picked up their 2nd blank score sheet and now two in a row.

Other teams that went out are BRADFORD CITY who lost 2-1 at home to Blackburn Rovers. Bradford are on a total of 10 goals. PETERBOROUGH lost 1-0 away to Stevenage and that is their 2nd blank of the season.

First Win for United

In the Premier League, MANCHESTER UNITED have finally won their first league game and points as they beat their rivals LIVERPOOL 2-1 at home. United take their goals total to 3 while Liverpool hit goal number 4.

Week Four

Here we are with Week Four of the competition we had three winners to share the £5 weekend jackpot which brings our winners total up to six this season. They are JAMES BLYTH, PATRICK O’DONOGHUE and JUNE TIGHE who all won on our lowest score of the season with 8 goals each. 

James started with Golden Goals in the 2015/16 Season on where he finished in 75th place with a total of 243 goals. Last season James finished in the winning frame in 17th place with 300 goals. This season we see James at his highest to date in 13th place. Patrick started in the 2017/18 Season on where he finished in 37th place with a total of 288 goals. He also picked up one shared weekend win. Last season he finished in 95th place with 233 goals. This season he has also is at his highest to date with his person best score. June is our first lady to win some cash this our 40th Season. June started with us in the 2016/17 Season although she has not been in every season since. As we have lost the records of that season, last season June finished in 111th place on 185 goals. This season June is at her highest position to date and this is also her best personal best score. Our winners teams are

West Brom became our 63rd voted English team when they joined in the 1986/87 Season on where they finished the season on a total of 54 goals. This is their sixteenth season with Golden Goals. Their biggest end of season total came in the 2007/08 Season with 109 goals. They have score 100 or more goals in a season twice. Last season they finished on a total of 53 goals. Over the years the have netted a total of 1073 goals which gives them an average score of 67 goals per season to date. This season they have just two votes and picked up just one blank score sheet.

Our highest goal scorers in our 40th Season are now CHARLTON who won 5-1 at home to Plymouth, and MANSFIELD TOWN 5-2 at home win against AFC Wimbledon. WEST BROM won 5-2 at home against Hull. All three were league games in Week Four. CELTIC won 5-0 away to Kilmarnock in the league in Week Three. ABERDEEN and HIBERNIAN have both picked up five goals each from their League Cup first round group stage. Aberdeen won 5-0 away to Stirling in their third league cup game. Hibernian won 5-0 at home to Clyde in their first league cup game. Both from Week One.  

LUCIFER (John Wood) is now in his fourth weekend at the top even after he picked up one goal from the weekend. Lucifer’s teams are Alloa, Bonnyrigg Rose and Stenhousemuir.  Lucifer is now just two goals in front of Vincent Cruickshank who moves up to second place this weekend collecting a total of 9 goals from Peterborough, Rangers and Tottenham.

At the other end at 108 we still have MANDY WRIGHT who picked up just two goals this week. Mandy has Bournemouth, Swansea and West Ham.

Norwich Win First League Games

In the Championship NORWICH have played twice this week they first won their first league game 2-1 at home to HUDDERSFIELD and then they won again 2-0 at home against Millwall. Norwich are now on a total of 8 goals and have scored in all of their last five games.

More Championship Results

We had another four of our teams in action last night and most picked up some more goals for us.

In the Championship MIDDLESBROUGH drew 2-2 away to Stoke to take their goals tally up to 7 goals. READING picked up their highest score of the season by beating Blackburn 3-0 at home. Reading are now on a total of 6 goals. SUNDERLAND lost 2-1 away to Sheffield Utd and that is their 7th goal of the season. Five Goal Charlton and Mansfield

We had a fairly good night’s football last night with some big results from our Golden Goals teams.

In the Championship WATFORD drew 1-1 away to Birmingham to pick up another single goal. Watford have now picked up 4 goals in four games. LUTON lost 2-0 away to Bristol City to pick up their third blank of the season after five games played. BURNLEY drew 1-1 at home against Hull and they are on a total of 3 goals. NORWICH won their first league game 2-1 at home to HUDDERSFIELD. Norwich are on a total of 6 goals while Huddersfield also picked up their sixth goal of the season. SWANSEA drew 2-2 at home to Millwall and they are on a total of 6 goals.

In League One BRISTOL ROVERS lost 3-0 away to Barnsley and that is their second blank of the season. IPSWICH won 1-0 away to Burton and they are on a total of 7 goals. CHARLTON are just one of our big scorers last night as they picked up their highest score of the season by winning 5-1 at home to PLYMOUTH. Charlton are on a total of 9 goals while Plymouth picked up their fifth. MK DONS won their very first league game with a 3-1 home win against Port Vale. The Dons with their biggest result to date are now on a total of 3 goals. OXFORD UTD lost 2-1 at home to LINCOLN CITY. Oxford are on a total of 4 goals to Lincoln’s 7 goals. PETERBOROUGH won 2-0 at home to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY and they are a total of 10 goals. Wednesday who had scored in all of their first four games, picked up their first blank of the season. DERBY drew 0-0 away to Shrewsbury and that is their second blank score sheet.

In League Two BRADFORD lost 1-0 away to Colchester and that was their second blank of the season. CRAWLEY lost 3-2 at home to Northampton and they are on a total of 3 goals. SUTTON lost 1-0 away to Crewe to pick up their second blank of the season. STOCKPORT lost 2-1 away to Doncaster and they are on a total of 6 goals and a goal run of five games. GILLINGHAM picked up their third blank score sheet and now two games in a row after they lost 2-0 at home to Harrogate. MANSFIELD picked up their biggest result of the season by winning 5-2 at home to AFC WIMBLEDON. Mansfield have taken their goals tally up to 7 goals while Wimbledon are on 6 goals. SALFORD CITY picked up another three goals in their 3-2 away win over Newport. Salford are now on a total of 9 goals. SWINDON drew 1-1 at home to Leyton Orient and that is goal number two for them.

Liverpool Still Without a Win

In the Premier League ten men LIVERPOOL went a goal down in the first half against CRYSTAL PALACE before they equalised in the second half to end the game 1-1 at home. It’s another draw for Liverpool which takes their goals total to three. Palace picked up their first point and goal of the season.

Week Three

Here we are with Week Three of the competition and this weekend we had our third winner of the season to pick up the full £5 prize money. They are BARRY BURROUGHS (1) who won on a score of 11 goals which is the highest so far this season. Barry has been with us since the 2010/11 Season where he finished in the winning frame in 20th place on a total of 284 goals. He also picked up one shared weekend win. He also finished in the winning frame in the following season in 14th place with a total of 286 goals. Last season he finished in 94th place with combo 1 with 235 goals and in 109th with combo 2 with 193 goals. His winning teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Who is in the lead for our 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot worth a total of £40 this season. Well not much has changed in the top five but there are a few more that have joined the race for the cash this week.

In the lead after three weeks of football we still have LUCIFER (John Wood) with a total of 18 goals. In second place we have HAYLEY ADKINS with 12 goals. In third place with 10 goals we have DAVID BARRETT and our 2009/10 Champion DAVE SOMERVILLE. In fourth place we now have GUY DOWSETT (1) and GUY DOWSETT (2) both with 7 goals each. In fifth place with a total of 5 goals we now have TONY KING this week. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had another full fixture at the weekend and it’s the best to date. We had just four teams with no game over the weekend with another seventeen of our teams that failed to score any goals. So it’s good news this weekend as the average score was 6 goals. So if your combination picked up more than that, then you have done very well this weekend.

The Highest score over the weekend was 5 goals and they came from Scottish Premiership CELTIC. They won 5-0 away to Kilmarnock to pick up their biggest result to date. Celtic are on a total of 10 goals. Celtic are one of our original teams from our first season 1983/84 and were our second most voted Scottish team. They finished on a total of 116 goals. Their highest score came in the 2016/17 Season with a total of 134 goals, which is our second highest score on record. Last season they finished on a total of 111 goals and that was the 20th time that they have netted 100 or more goals in 40 Seasons. Over the years they have now netted a total of 3818 goals which gives them an average score of 95 goals per season. They have a total of 26 votes this year and they have won all three of their league games played. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

The Premier League teams have now played their second league game of the season and most of them had a good weekend. MANCHESTER CITY go to the top after they won their second league game 4-0 at home to BOURNEMOUTH. With their biggest result so far, City are now on a total of 6 goals. Bournemouth picked up their first blank of the season. ARSENAL have remained in second place after they won 4-2 at home to LEICESTER CITY. With their biggest result to date, Arsenal are now on a total of 6 goals. Leicester City have taken their total to 4 goals. ASTON VILLA picked up their first goals with a 2-1 home win against EVERTON who are also now on the score sheet. BRIGHTON drew 0-0 at home to NEWCASTLE which means that both teams picked up their first blank score sheets of the season. LEEDS UTD drew 2-2 away to Southampton and they are on a total of 4 goals. FULHAM picked up their first blank score sheet after they drew 0-0 away to Wolves. CHELSEA drew 2-2 at home to London rivals TOTTENHAM to take their goals tally to 3 while Tottenham are on 6 goals. Still no goals from WEST HAM as they lost 1-0 away to Nottingham Forest. That is their second blank of the season. With their biggest defeat of the season so far, MANCHESTER UTD lost 4-0 away to Brentford. United have failed to pick up any points in their two opening games and a rock bottom of the league. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

The highest team that we have here are Watford in third place. SWANSEA won 1-0 away to Blackpool and that is their 4th goal of the season. HUDDERSFIELD picked up their biggest result as they win 3-1 at home to Stoke. Huddersfield are now on a total of 5 goals. NORWICH lost 2-1 away to Hull and they are on a total of 4 goals. LUTON picked up their second blank score sheet as they lost 1-0 at home to Preston. READING lost 4-0 away to Rotherham and that is their second blank of the season. SUNDERLAND drew 2-2 at home to QPR and they are on a total of 6 goals. WEST BROM lost 2-1 away to top of the table Blackburn Rovers. West Brom and now scored four goals in their four games played. MIDDLESBROUGH drew 2-2 at home to Sheffield Utd and they are on a total of 5 goals. 

LEAGUE ONE

IPSWICH are top here now with their second win of the season. they won 3-0 at home against MK DONS. Ipswich with their biggest win of the season are now on a total of 6 goals. MK Dons picked up their third blank of the season. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY are in second place after they won 1-0 at home to CHARLTON. Wednesday are on a total of 7 goals while Charlton picked up their first blank of the season. BRISTOL ROVERS won 1-0 at home to OXFORD UTD and are on a total of 6 goals. Oxford picked up their second blank of the season. DERBY won 2-1 at home to Barnsley and they are on a total of 5 goals. LINCOLN CITY drew 1-1 at home to FOREST GREEN and they are on a total of 5 goals. Forest Green have now scored in all of their four games and are on a total of 6 goals. PLYMOUTH won 2-0 at home to PETERBOROUGH. Plymouth are on a total of 4 goals while Borough picked up their first blank score sheet. 

LEAGUE TWO

The highest team that we have here are SALFORD CITY in third place. They picked up their biggest result as they win 3-0 at home against Crewe. Salford are now on a total of 6 goals. After a two game dry spell for goals, AF WIMBLEDON drew 2-2 at home to Doncaster. Wimbledon are on a total of 4 goals. BRADFORD CITY drew 2-2 at home to Newport and they have taken their goals tally to 6 goals. After they had failed to score in their first three games, SWINDON are on the score sheet after they drew 1-1 away to Carlsile. CRAWLEY TOWN drew 0-0 away to Harrogate and that is their third blank score sheet and now just one goal in four games played. MANSFIELD picked up their second as they lost 1-0 away to Leyton Orient. STOCKPORT COUNTY won their first league game 1-0 at home to Colchester. SUTTON UTD won 1-0 at home to Barrow and they are on a total of 3 goals. GILLINGHAM lost 3-0 away to Tranmere and that is their second blank of the season.

 SCOTTISH LEAGUES

In the Premiership CELTIC have remained on top and still on goal difference after their 5-0 away win against Kilmarnock. RANGERS are in second place as they also picked up their highest result after they won 4-0 at home to St Johnston. Rangers are on a total of 8 goals. HEARTS are still in third place after they won 4-1 at home to Dundee Utd. Hearts with their biggest result to date are on a total of 7 goals. HIBERNIAN lost 2-1 away to Livingston which takes their goal tally to 13 goals. ABERDEEN lost 3-2 at home to Motherwell. Aberdeen are now on a total of 18 goals.

In League One ALLOA lost 4-2 at home to FC Edinburgh and they are now on a total of 11 goals. KELTY HEARTS lost their third league game 3-0 away to Clyde. Kelty picked up their 5th blank of the season and now just one goal in their last four games.

In League Two, new boys BONNYRIGG ROSE moved down to second place the league here after they drew 2-2 away to Stranraer. They have now taken their goals tally to 12 goals and have extended their goal run to seven league/cup games. STENHOUSEMUIR lost 3-0 away to Stirling. After a goal run of six league/cup games, they have now picked up their first blank score sheet of the season.

Our Best performing teams are BONNYRIGG ROSE who have now scored in all of their seven cup/league games and are on a total of 12 goals. 

Our worst performing team is KELTY HEARTS this weekend as they have picked up five blank score sheets in their first seven games of the season. 

Our highest goal scorers in our 40th Season are now CELTIC who won 5-0 away to Kilmarnock in the league in Week Three. ABERDEEN and HIBERNIAN have both picked up five goals each from their League Cup first round group stage. Aberdeen won 5-0 away to Stirling in their third league cup game. Hibernian won 5-0 at home to Clyde in their first league cup game. Both from Week One. 

LUCIFER (John Wood) is now in his third weekend at the top after he picked up a total of 4 goals from the weekend. Lucifer’s teams are Alloa, Bonnyrigg Rose and Stenhousemuir.  Lucifer is still out front from the rest of us and now 6 goals in front of David Barrett who moves back up to second place this weekend collecting a total of 7 goals from Celtic, Hibernian and Sutton Utd.

At the other end at 108 we now have MANDY WRIGHT who becomes our third player to stay there this season as she picked up just 3 goals this week. Mandy has Bournemouth, Swansea and West Ham.
