In the Championship WATFORD won their first game 1-0 at home to Sheffield Utd. Watford are one of our original teams when we started Golden Goals and they were our 5th team to join in the 1983/84 Season. This is their 23rd Season with us. Their highest score came in the following season with a total of 102 goals. It’s the only time that they have picked up over 100 goals. Their lowest score came from last season with just 37 goals. Over the years they have scored a total of 1539 which gives them an average score of 66 goals per season to date.
