Football Resumes

As the country still mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth II there has been no professional football games played up till now.

In the Championship top of the table SHEFFIELD UNITED won 1-0 away to SWANSEA. United are on a total of 17 goals and have extended their goal run to eight games. Swansea picked up their 3rd blank of the season. WATFORD lost 2-0 away to Blackburn and that is their 3rd blank of the season. HUDDERSFIELD lost 2-1 at home to Wigan and that is their 9th goal of the season after they have failed to score in their previous two games.  MIDDLESBROUGH lost 3-2 at home to Cardiff and they have taken their goals tally to 13 goals. BURNLEY drew 1-1 away to Preston and they are on a total of 16 goals. Burnley have now scored in all of their last seven games.

In League One, IPSWICH have remained top after they won 2-0 at home to BRISTOL ROVERS. Ipswich are on a total of 16 goals and a goal run of six games. Rovers picked up their 3rd blank of the season. CHARLTON drew 1-1 at home to FOREST GREEN and they picked up goal number 14 and a goal run of six games. Forest Green are on 9 goals. LINCOLN CITY are on 13 goals after they won 2-0 at home against DERBY. Derby picked up their 4th blank score sheet. MK DONS lost 2-0 at home to Bolton to pick up their 5th blank score sheet and now two in a row. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY won 3-0 away to Morecambe and they have taken their goals total up to 20 goals. PETERBOROUGH lost 1-0 at home to Fleetwood and that is their 3rd blank of the season. PLYMOUTH won 1-0 at home to OXFORD UTD. Plymouth are on a total of 14 goals while Oxford picked up their 4th blank of the season.

In League Two AFC WIMBLEDON lost 2-0 at home to Northampton and that is their 5th blank score sheet and now three in a row. CRAWLEY TOWN won 3-2 at home against STOCKPORT and they have taken their goals total to 11 goals. Stockport are on 11 goals. GILLINGHAM drew 1-1 away to Grimsby and that is goal number four after they have failed to score in their last six games. SALFORD CITY won 1-0 away to Harrogate and they are on a total of 14 goals and a goal run of seven games. MANSFIELD drew 0-0 at home against Carlisle and that is their 3rd blank of the season. SWINDON won 3-2 at home against SUTTON UTD and they are now on a total of 9 goals while Sutton are also on 9 goals. BRADFORD won 2-1 away to Tranmere and they are on a total of 14 goals.
