More League and Cup Games

In the Premier League top of the table ARSENAL won 2-1 at home to ASTON VILLA. Arsenal have now won all five of their league games and they are now on a total of 13 goals. Villa picked up their 8th goal of the season. MANCHESTER CITY picked up their biggest result of the season as they win 6-0 at home to Nottingham Forest. City have now taken their goals tally up to 19 goals. BOURNEMOUTH drew 0-0 at home to Wolves and that is their 4th blank of the season and now two in a row. They have also scored just two goals in their last five games. WEST HAM drew 1-1 at home to London rivals TOTTENHAM. West Ham who had a bad start to the season, have now picked up their second goal of the season. Tottenham are on a total of 10 goals and a goal run of five games. LIVERPOOL won 2-1 at home to NEWCASTLE after going a goal down. Liverpool are on a total of 15 goals while Newcastle are on 9. 

In the Championship HUDDERSFIELD lost 2-0 away to Bristol City and that is their 2nd blank of the season after a goal run of five games. SWANSEA CITY drew 1-1 away to Stoke and they are on a total of 8 goals. SUNDERLAND won 3-0 at home to Rotherham and they are now on a total of 11 goals. 

In the Scottish League Cup second round we had another two of our teams in action but only one has made it through to the next round. They are CELTIC who won 4-1 away to Ross County. Celtic have extended their goal run with all six games played they are now on a total of 25 goals. HEARTS go out of the cup after they lost 1-0 at home to Kilmarnock. That is Hearts 2nd blank of the season.
