Cove Rangers Advance in Scottish Cup

In the SCOTTISH CUP fourth round. The last game has finally been played in this round where COVE RANGERS won 3-1 away to Brora Rangers in extra time. Rangers are now on a total of 51 goals after they had failed to score in their last three games. 

In the Premier League ARSENAL have moved up to second place for now after they won 2-1 away to NOTTINGHAM FOREST. Arsenal are on a total of 46 goals while Forest are on 32. FULHAM drew 0-0 at home against Everton and that is their 11th blank of the season and now two in a row. Fulham have scored just one goal in their last four games. BRIGHTON picked up their 5th blank of the season after they lost 4-0 away to Luton. CRYSTAL PALACE won 3-2 at home to bottom of the table Sheffield United. Place are now on a total of 29 goals after they had failed to score in their previous three games. NEWCASTLE won 3-1 away against ASTON VILLA. Newcastle have taken their goals total to 54 and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. Villa hit goal number 46 after they had failed to score in their previous two games. 

In the Championship top of the table LEICESTER CITY won 3-1 at home to SWANSEA CITY and are now on a total of 70 goals and have now scored in all of their last 15 league/cup games. Swansea are on 46 goals. It’s 40 goals for BRISTOL CITY after they drew 2-2 away to Coventry. 

In League Two SUTTON UNITED lost 2-1 at home to Harrogate Town and are on a total of 43 goals and have extended their goal run to 6 league/cup games. 

In the Scottish Premiership ABERDEEN drew 1-1 at home to Dundee and are on a total of 31 goals. After they had failed to score in their last three games, ROSS COUNTY drew 2-2 away to bottom of the table Livingston and are on a total of 37 goals. 

In League Two EAST FIFE lost 3-0 at home to The Spartans and picked up their 12th blank of the season. Bottom of the table CLYDE lost 2-1 away to Elgin City. Clyde are on a total of 33 goals.

Wrexham Dream Ends

In the very last game of the FA Cup fourth round, excluding the replays, WREXHAM go out of the cup after they lost 4-1 away to Blackburn Rovers. Wrexham are on a total of 58 goals.

Week Twenty-Six

In Week Twenty-Six of the competition we had our 28th winner of the season to picked up the full £5 weekend prize money. The cash goes to me, STEVE REEVE winning on a total of 10 goals. That has come as a complete shock to me as I am having a rubbish season up till now. I became Champions twice with the first time being in the 2008/09 Season and ended with a total of 290 goals. The second time was in the 2020/21 Season and finished with a total of 307 goals. Last season I finished in 39th place with 275 goals. This season I have picked up a total of four blank weekend score sheets and this is the highest that I have been all season. This is also my personal best weekend score. My winning teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Most of us have managed to pick up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has changed this week. We now have a total of 33 players that are over the half-way mark this week. We had two players that picked up the most amount of midweek goals and they are DOUG MORBEY and ANN WELLARD with 10 goals each.

In first place this week we still have PETER PORTER but joining him this week we have ANN WELLARD who comes straight back in to the race. Both are now on a total of 70 goals. In second place this week we have MARK GREGORY now on a total of 69 goals. In third place down from two we have JAMES SOMERVILLE  and joining him we have TONY KING. Both are now with a total of 68 goals. In fourth place with 66 goals we have GEOFF CARTHY and GRANT PHILLIPS who came down from three. In fifth place down from four we have ANDY EYLES now with a total of 65 goals. In sixth place we have our 2017/18 Champion CHRIS BOLBERY down from fifth place with a total of 64 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had 37 of our teams in action over the weekend and out of them, only 6 teams failed to score any goals. Once again we did not have a full fixture this weekend. The average score for this weekend went down from five goals from last weekend to 4 goals this weekend.

The highest score that we had came from three of our teams with 5 goals each. They are BRIGHTON and LIVERPOOL in the FA CUP fourth round and FALKIRK from the Scottish League One. Here are all of the weekends results. 

FA CUP Fourth Round

In this round we had another 11 of our teams in action. We already know that Bournemouth and Manchester City are through to the next round. Well we can now add another 5 of our teams that are through. They are LEICESTER CITY who won 3-0 at home to Birmingham City and they have taken their goals tally to 67 goals and a goal run of 14 league/cup games. BRIGHTON won 5-2 away to Sheffield Utd and have taken their goals tally up to 47 goals. NEWCASTLE won 2-0 away to FULHAM and are on a total of 51 goals. Fulham picked up their 10th blank of the season. LIVERPOOL won 5-2 at home to NORWICH and they have taken their goals tally to 67 and they have extended their goal run to 9 league/cup games. Norwich are on 55 goals. With their biggest result of the season, MANCHESTER UNITED won 4-2 away to Newport and they are now on a total of 33 goals.

Team that went out of the cup are IPSWICH TOWN after they lost 2-1 at home to Non-league Maidstone Utd. Ipswich are on a total of 63 goals.

More of our teams are in replays and they are LEEDS UNITED who drew 1-1 at home to PLYMOUTH. Leeds are on a total of 57 goals while Plymouth hit goal number 55. SOUTHAMPTON drew 1-1 away to Watford and are on a total of 59 goals and a goal run of 23 league/cup games. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

We had just one game here this weekend where SUNDERLAND won 3-1 at home against STOKE CITY. Sunderland are now on a total of 41 goals while Stoke are on 38 goals. 

LEAGUE ONE

Our highest team here are in the Play-offs where PETERBOROUGH moved down to third place after they drew 0-0 away to Lincoln City. Borough picked up their 3rd blank of the season. DERBY are down to fourth place after they won 2-1 at home to Cheltenham. After they failed to score in their last two games, Derby are now on a total of 55 goals. It’s 60 goals for BARNSLEY who are still in fifth place after they lost 2-1 at home to Exeter. Barnsley have now scored in all of their last 13 league/cup games.  

Meanwhile BLACKPOOL drew 1-1 at home to CHARLTON and are on a total of 58 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. Charlton are on 51 goals. BRISTOL ROVERS won 3-1 at home to Oxford Utd and they are now on a total of 52 goals. READING drew 1-1 at home to Leyton Orient and are on a total of 45 goals. 

LEAGUE TWO

Wrexham are still our highest team here in second place even though they had no game this weekend.

In the Play-offs we have two of the four teams. They are MK DONS up to sixth place after they won 2-1 at home to Gillingham. The Dons are on a total of 49 goals. NOTTS COUNTY are down to seventh place after they drew 1-1 at home against Barrow. County are on a total of  66 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 12 league/cup games.

Meanwhile AFC WIMBLEDON won 2-1 at home to Mansfield and are on a total of 58 goals. SALFORD CITY won 3-2 away to Crewe and are on a total of 48 goals. SUTTON UNITED drew 1-1 away to Walsall and are on a total of 42 goals. 

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In the Premiership leaders CELTIC won 1-0 at home to ROSS COUNTY and are on a total of 59 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. County picked up their 12th blank of the season and now three in a row. Second place RANGERS won 1-0 away to St Mirren and are on 59 goals and have extended their goal run to 22 league/cup games. ABERDEEN lost 2-0 away to Hearts and picked up their 11th blank of the season. KILMARNOCK drew 2-2 at home to HIBERNIAN and are on a total of 39 goals while Hibs are on 35 goals. 

In League One top of the table FALKIRK won 5-0 away to Alloa and have taken their goals tally up to 68 goals and now have a goal run of 9 league/cup games. COVE RANGERS lost 2-0 at home to Queen of the South. Rangers picked up their 6th blank of the season and now three games with out a goal. KELTY HEARTS lost 5-0 away to Stirling and picked up their 6th blank of the season and now two in a row. 

In League Two top of the table STENHOUSEMUIR lost their second league game 2-1 away to Peterhead. Stenhousemuir have now scored in all of their last 13 league/cup games with a total of 42 goals. EAST FIFE won 1-0 away to Stranraer and are on a total of 31 goals. CLYDE drew 1-1 away to The Spartans and are on a total of 32 goals.

Our worst performing team is SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY this week as they have picked up 13 blank score sheets out of their 32 league/cup games. 

Our highest goal scoring teams in our 41st Season are NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight. BARNSLEY and BRISTOL ROVERS have both pick up our second highest score with 7 goals. Barnsley won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One. Bristol Rovers won 7-2 at home to non-league Whitby Town in the first round of the FA CUP in Week Fourteen. 

JAMES SOMERVILLE remains at the top this weekend as he picks up a total of just 5 goals from the week. James has now been at the top for a total of 5 weeks through  the season. He’s teams are Celtic, Leicester City and Peterborough.

John Filtness has moved to second place this weekend as he picked up a total of 11 goals this week. John is just 4 goals behind James. John has Leicester City, Liverpool and Manchester City.

At the other end at 110 we still have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) for his seventh weekend. John picked up another 3 goals this weekend. John has Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir.

More FA CUP fourth round Results

 

We had 7 teams playing in the FA CUP fourth round last night and out of them only one made it through to the next round. They are MANCHESTER CITY after they won 1-0 away to TOTTENHAM. City are on a total of 54 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. Tottenham after a goal run of 23 games, picked up their very first blank of the season. The other teams all drew and are in replays. They are BRISTOLCITY who drew 0-0 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and picked up their twelfth blank of the season. Forest picked up their eighth after a goal run of 6 games. CHELSEA drew 0-0 at home to ASTON VILLA and picked up their seventh blank of the season. Villa have now had a total of four blank score sheets and now two games in a row. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY drew 1-1 at home to Coventry and are on a total of 29 goals.

Result for Bournemouth in FA Cup

In the very first game of the FA CUP fourth round, BOURNEMOUTH picked up their biggest result of the season as they win 5-0 at home against SWANSEA CITY. All five goals came in the first half of the game and that takes Bournemouth’s goal tally to 42. Swansea picked up their fifth blank of the season.

Chelsea v Liverpool League Cup Final

In the other League Cup semi-final 2nd leg, LIVERPOOL went 2-1 up in their first leg game against FULHAM. But in the 2nd leg, Liverpool drew 1-1 away and won 3-2 on aggregate and they will play Chelsea in the Cup Final on 25th February. Liverpool are on a total of 62 goals while Fulham are on 38. 

In the Championship, LEEDS UNITED are still in fourth place after they won 1-0 at home to NORWICH CITY. Leeds are on a total of 57 goals while Norwich picked up their fifth blank of the season. 

In the Scottish Premiership, second place RANGERS won 3-0 away to HIBERNIAN and have taken their goals tally to 58 and they have now scored in all of their last 21 league/cup games. Hibs picked up their 7th blank of the season. It’s 30 goals for ABERDEEN after they drew 1-1 away to St Johnstone.

Chelsea going to Wembley

In the League Cup semi-final 2nd leg, CHELSEA after being a goal down from the 1st leg, win the 2nd leg game 6-1 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH, winning 6-2 on aggregate. Chelsea with their biggest result of the season, are now on a total of 51 goals and are in the cup final. Brough picked up their 58th goal of the season. 

In League One BRISTOL ROVERS after a goal run of 21 games, picked up their fourth blank of the season after they lost 1-0 at home to Exeter City. It’s 50 goals for CHARLTON after they lost 3-2 at home to Northampton. BARNSLEY won 1-0 away to Oxford Utd and are on a total of 59 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 12 league/cup games. READING won 1-0 at home against DERBY and are on a total of 44 goals. Derby picked up their fifth blank score sheet and now two games in a row. 

In League Two SALFORD CITY drew 1-1 away to Bradford City and are on a total of 45 goals. MK DONS won 3-1 at home to AFC WIMBLEDON and have taken their goals tally to 47 goals. Wimbledon picked up goal number 56. SUTTON UNITED drew 1-1 away to Mansfield and are on a total of 41 goals.

Brighton and Leicester Draw

In the Premier League BRIGHTON drew 0-0 at home to Wolves and picked up their 4th blank of the season. 

In the Championship top of the table LEICESTER CITY took on IPSWICH and drew 1-1 at home. City are now 8 points in front of second place Southampton. City are on a total of 64 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 13 league/cup games. Ipswich are on a total of 62 goals.

Week Twenty-Five

In Week Twenty-Five of the competition we had another two winners to share the weekend prize money of £5 and they are MANGO (Paul Moran) and TIM WOOD both winning on a total of 13 goals each. As they are both new winners this season, our winners total now stands at 27.

Paul started with Golden Goals back in the 1994/95 Season but unfortunately I do not have the final news sheet for that season. but last season, Paul finished in the winning frame in fifth place with a total of 318 goals. He also had two weekend wins. This season he has been as high as 14th place in Week Two. This is his personal best weekend score and he has picked up a total of 3 blank weekend score sheets.

Tim started with us in the 1996/97 Season and finished in 43rd place with a total of 251 goals. Last season he finished in 28th place with 285 goals. This season he has been as high as 34th place in Week Fourteen. Tim has picked up a total of 5 blank weekend score sheets and this is also his personal best weekend score. Our winners teams are

In first place this week we now have PETER PORTER moving up from two last week now on a total of 68 goals. Peter teams are Barnsley, Celtic and Leicester City. Down to second place this week we have last weeks leader JAMES SOMERVILLE and up from three MARK GREGORY, both now with a total of 67 goals. In third place up from four we have GRANT PHILLIPS with a total of 65 goals. In fourth place up from six we have ANDY EYLES now with a total of 62 goals. In fifth place we still have BAILEY MORAN but coming back into the race we have our 2017/18 Champion CHRIS BOLBERY both with a total of 61 goals. In sixth place this week we still have STUART KEMP (1) and JED WEARDEN but coming back in we have ANN WELLARD. All three are on a total of 60 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had 38 of our teams in action over the weekend and out of them, only 6 teams failed to score any goals. Despite having some games cancelled due to the cold weather that we had over the weekend, and once again we did not have a full fixture, the average score for the weekend went up from three goals last weekend to 5 goals this weekend. It seems that our big teams are starting to score some goals for us all now.

The highest score that we had came from two of our teams. In the SCOTTISH CUP fourth round where CELTIC won 5-0 at home against non-league Buckie Thistle which was no surprise. Celtic have taken their goals total to 58 goals. In the Premier League. ARSENAL won 5-0 at home to London rivals CRYSTAL PALACE. Arsenal have taken their goals tally up to 44 goals while Palace picked up their ninth blank of the season and now three games without a goal. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

LIVERPOOL are still top of the table after they won 4-0 away to AFC BOURNEMOUTH. Liverpool have taken their goals tally to 61 and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. Bournemouth picked up their fifth blank score sheet after a goal run of 13 games. Manchester City in second place even though they had no game this week. In third place we now have Arsenal after their big win. NOTTINGHAM FOREST lost 3-2 away to Brentford and are on a total of 31 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. WEST HAM drew 2-2 to bottom of the table Sheffield United and they are on a total of 41 goals. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

Leicester City are still top of the table with SOUTHAMPTON now in second place after they won 3-1 away to SWANSEA CITY. Southampton are now on a total of 58 goals and have now scored in all of their last 22 league/cup games. Swansea are on a total of 45 goals.

In the Play-offs we have two of the four teams and they are Ipswich Town now in third place with LEEDS UNITED still in fourth place. They won 2-1 at home to Preston. Leeds are now on a total of 56 goals.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY picked up goal number 28 after they lost 2-1 at home to Coventry. Wednesday are now second from bottom. STOKE lost 2-1 at home to Birmingham and are on a total of 37 goals.

Our highest team here are PETERBOROUGH still in second place after they won 2-1 at home to Shrewsbury. Borough are on a total of 66 goals.

In the Play-offs we have two of the four teams. DERBY are now in third place after they drew 0-0 away to Lincoln City. Derby picked up their fourth blank of the season after a goal run of 16 games. Barnsley are now in fifth place.

WREXHAM are still our highest team here in second place after they lost 1-0 away to Newport. After they had scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games, Wrexham have now had a total of five blank score sheets.

In the Play-offs we have two of the four teams. They are Notts County still in sixth place and with MK DONS still in seventh place after they lost 2-1 at home to Morecambe. The Dons are on a total of 44 goals.

In the SCOTTISH CUP fourth round, we had 7 teams in action this weekend. Out of them only 4 made it through to the next round. Including Celtic we have HIBERNIAN who won 1-0 away to Forfar and are on a total of 33 goals. KILMARNOCK won 2-0 at home to Dundee and are on a total of 36 goals. RANGERS won 4-1 away to Dumbarton and have taken their goals tally to 55 and have now scored in all of their last 20 league/cup games.

Teams that went out of the cup are KELTY HEARTS who lost 3-0 away to Ayr Utd and picked up their fifth blank of the season. FALKIRK lost 2-1 away to Bonnyrigg Rose and are on a total of 63 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 8 league/cup games. ROSS COUNTY lost 3-0 a to home to Partick and picked up their eleventh blank of the season and now they have failed to score in their last two games. 

In League Two top of the table STENHOUSEMUIR won 1-0 at home to Stranraer. Stenhousemuir have now scored in all of their last 12 league/cup games with a total of 41 goals. It’s 30 goals for EAST FIFE after they drew 2-2 at home to Peterhead.

Start of the Scottish Cup 4th Round

In the start of the SCOTTISH CUP fourth round ABERDEEN won 2-0 away to CLYDE and are on a total of 29 goals. Clyde after a goal run of 7 games, picked up their 8th blank of the season. 

In the Championship SUNDERLAND lost 1-0 at home to Hull and picked up their 10th blank of the season.

More FA CUP 3rd Round Replays

 

More games in the FA CUP third round replays where we had another five of our teams in action. Out of them only two have made it through to the next round. They are NOTTINGHAM FOREST drew 2-2 against BLACKPOOL away after the full 90 minutes and then they went on to win 3-2 after extra time. Forest are now on a total of 29 goals while Blackpool are on 55 goals. NORWICH CITY won 3-1 away to BRISTOL ROVERS and have taken their goals tally to 51. Rovers are on 48 goals and have now scored in all of their last 20 league/cup games. CRYSTAL PALACE are out after they lost 1-0 away to Everton. That is Palaces 8th blank of the season and now two games in a row without a goal.

In the FA CUP third round replays, a shock as BRISTOL CITY won 1-0 at home, by knocking out WEST HAM with a goal in the very first 3 minutes of the first half. City are on a total of 37 goals while West Ham picked up their 4th blank of the season. 

In League One BARNSLEY won 2-1 at home to Carlisle United and are on a total of 58 goals and have now scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games.

Derby still in the Play-offs

In League One DERBY won 3-2 at home to Burton and moved up to 3rd place in the league. Derby are on a total of 53 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 16 league/cup games.

Week Twenty-Four

In Week Twenty-Four of the competition we had two winners to share the weekend prize money of £5 and they are KYLE HAMMOND and SAMUEL STEPHENS both winning on a total of 9 goals each. As they are both new winners this season, our winners total now stands at 25.

Kyle is in their very first season of Golden Goals and we would like to welcome them to the competition. Kyle has been as high as 27th place in Week Eleven and has only picked up one blank score sheet. Their best team is Notts County.

Samuel is in his third season with us with the 2021/22 Season being his first. Samuel finished 29th place with a total of 290 goals. He picked up one weekend win. Last season he finished in the winning frame in 8th place with a total of 312 goals. This season we can see Samuel at his highest position to date. He has picked up a total of four blank score sheets. His best team is Middlesbrough. Our winners teams are

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

Nearly half of us have picked up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has remained the same once again this week. We now have a total of 27 players that are over the half-way mark this week.

In first place this week we still have JAMES SOMERVILLE with a total of 67 goals. James teams are Celtic, Leicester City and Peterborough. Remaining in second place we still have PETER PORTER on a total of 66 goals. In third place we still have MARK GREGORY now with a total of 65 goals. In fourth place we still have GRANT PHILLIPS with a total of 62 goals. In fifth place we still have BAILEY MORAN with a total of 61 goals. In sixth place this week we now have ANDY EYLES remaining there now with STUART KEMP (1) and JED WEARDEN both come back in to the race. All three are on a total of 60 goals. 

WEEKEND RESULTS

We had 35 of our teams in action over the weekend and out of them, only 6 of our teams failed to score any goals. Despite that we did not have a full fixture this weekend, the average score for the weekend fell from five goals last weekend to just 3 goals this weekend. The highest score that we had came from League Two where NOTTS COUNTY drew 5-5 away to Grimsby and have taken their goals tally up to 65 and a goal run of 11 league/cup games.

Notts County started with Golden Goals back in the 1985/86 Season on where they finished the season with a total of 90 goals. They became our 49th voted team. Their highest score came in the 2009/10 Season with 106 goals which is the only time that they have reached 100 goals in a season. Last time out was in the 2018/19 Season with 51 goals. This is their 8th season with us and over the years they have netted a total of 558 goals. That now gives them an average score of 69 goals per season to date. This season they have two votes and they have picked up a total of four blank score sheets to date. 

PREMIER LEAGUE

Liverpool are top this weekend with MANCHESTER CITY in second place. They won 3-2 away to NEWCASTLE and are now on a total of 53 goals and have now scored in all of their last 6 league/cup games. Newcastle are on a total of 49 goals. In third place we have ASTON VILLA who picked up their 3rd blank of the season, after a goal run of 10 league/cup games as they drew 0-0 away to Everton. CHELSEA won 1-0 at home to FULHAM and picked up goal number 45. Fulham picked up their 9th blank of the season. MANCHESTER UNITED drew 2-2 at home to TOTTENHAM and are now on a total of 29 goals. Tottenham are on 46 goals and they have now scored in all of their 22 league/cup games this season. 

CHAMPIONSHIP

Top of the table LEICESTER CITY lost their 4th league game of the season, 3-1 away to Coventry. City are on a total of 63 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 12 league/cup games. Second place IPSWICH won 2-1 at home against SUNDERLAND. Ipswich are on a total of 61 goals while Sunderland picked up goal number 38.

In the Play-offs we have two of the four teams and they are SOUTHAMPTON in third place after they won 4-0 at home to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. Southampton have taken their goals tally to 55 goals and they have now scored in all of their last 21 league/cup games. Wednesday picked up their 13th blank of the season. LEEDS UNITED are in fourth place after they won 3-0 away to Cardiff. Leeds are now on a total of 54 goals and they have now scored 9 goals in their last 3 games.

Meanwhile SWANSEA drew 2-2 away to Birmingham and are on a total of 44 goals. PLYMOUTH drew 1-1 away to Huddersfield and they are on a total of 51 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. BRISTOL CITY picked up their 11th blank of the season after they lost 2-0 away to Preston. City have now scored just 1 goal in their last 4 games. STOKE won 1-0 away to bottom of the table Rotherham. Stoke are on a total of 36 goals. MIDDLESBROUGH won 3-1 away to Millwall and have taken their goals total to 56 goals. 

LEAGUE ONE

Our highest team here are PETERBOROUGH in second place after they won 2-1 away to CHARLTON. Borough are on a total of 64 goals while Charlton hit goal number 48.

In the Play-offs we have two of the four teams. Derby are in fourth place with BARNSLEY in sixth. They won 2-1 at home against BRISTOL ROVERS. Barnsley are on a total of 56 goals and have now scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games. Rovers are on 47 goals and have now scored in all of their last 19 league/cup games.

Meanwhile BLACKPOOL won 2-0 at home to Exeter and are on a total of 53 goals. 

LEAGUE TWO

WREXHAM are still our highest team here in second place. They won 2-0 at home to AFC WIMBLEDON and have taken their goals total to 57 goals and have now scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games. Wimbledon picked up their 8th blank of the season.

In the Play-offs we have two of the four teams. They are Notts County in sixth place and MK DONS in seventh place as they won 2-1 away to Tranmere. The Dons are on a total of 43 goals.

Meanwhile SALFORD CITY won 1-0 away to Crawley and are on a total of 44 goals. It’s 40 goals for SUTTON UNITED after they drew 2-2 at home to Barrow. 

SCOTTISH RESULTS

In League One FALKIRK are still top of the table after they drew 2-2 away to Edinburgh City  and are on a total of 62 goals and have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. COVE RANGERS in third place lost 2-0 away to Hamilton and picked up their 5th blank of the season and now two in  a row. It’s 40 goals for KELTY HEARTS after they drew 1-1 at home against Anna. 

In League Two it’s 40 goals for top of the table STENHOUSEMUIR after they won 2-0 away to The Spartans. Stenhousemuir have now scored in all of their last 11 league/cup games. EAST FIFE drew 1-1 at home to CLYDE. Fife are on a total of  28 goals while Clyde who are still bottom of the table are on a total of 31 goals. They have now scored in all of their last 7 league/cup games. 

Our BEST three teams this week

Our WORST three teams are 

CRYSTAL PALACE (26) NOTTINGHAM FOREST (26) SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY (27) Total of 79 goals 

Our Best performing team are now TOTTENHAM after they have now scored in all of their 23 league/cup games. They have a total of 46 goals which gives them an average score of 2 goals per game. 

Our worst performing team is SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY this week as they have picked up 13 blank score sheets out of their 30 league/cup games. 

Our highest goal scoring teams in our 41st Season are NEWCASTLE UNITED after they won 8-0 away to Sheffield United in Week Eight. BARNSLEY and BRISTOL ROVERS have both pick up our second highest score with 7 goals. Barnsley won 7-0 at home to Port Vale in the first league game of the season in Week One. Bristol Rovers won 7-2 at home to non-league Whitby Town in the first round of the FA CUP in Week Fourteen.

BAILEY MORAN moves to the top this weekend and becomes our 7th player to do so this season as he picks up a total of 6 goals from the week. Baileys teams are Leicester City, Manchester City and Peterborough. Last weeks leader James Somerville moves down to second place on goal difference. James picked up a total of just 3 goals this weekend.

At the other end at 110 we still have CHARLIE FARLEY (John Wood) for his fifth weekend. John picked up just 2 goals from the weekend. John has Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir. 

Once again we have had a bit of a change in the top ten this weekend.
