In Week Twenty-Nine of the competition, we had another £5 Weekend Jackpot and we had just the one winner who picked up his second win of the season MALCOLM STUBBS.

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Most of us managed to pick up some more goals during midweek once again, so the race for the 100 Midweek Goals Jackpot has changed again from last week. The highest score this week went to SARAH MARSHALL with a total of 6 goals. They came from Aston Villa, Burnley and Celtic. Sarah is now on a total of 58 midweek goals.
We have new leaders this week with RICKY WOOD our 2007/08 Champion remaining there with MARTIN CORBETT up from three. Both are now with a total of 72 goals. In second place we still have JAMES BLYTH on a total of 71 goals. In third place we now have BARBARA BARNES (2), BARRY BURROUGHS and ALFIE DIMMOCK all moving up from four. All now with a total of 69 goals. In fourth place we have up from fifth place, CARLA STEPHENS on a total of 67 goals. In fifth place we have GRANT PHILLIPS down from six on a total of 67goals. We then have five players all on a total of 66 goals.
WEEKEND RESULTS
We had just 6 of our teams with out a game this weekend and we had another 15 teams that failed to score any goals. We then had a very bad weekend from our teams with their results. We had a total of 17 players that failed to pick up any goals from their teams at the weekend. The average score therefore went down from six goals of last weekend to just 2 goals this weekend. So if you have done better than that? Well done. The highest score over the weekend was 4 goals, and they we had 3 teams that picked up that score. They came the Premier League NEWCASTLE UNITED and TOTTENHAM and from the Championship NORWICH CITY. Here are the rest of the weekend results.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Top of the table LIVERPOOL now have a 11 points lead after they won 2-0 away to MANCHESTER CITY. Liverpool are on a total of 82 goals. City after a goal run of 14 league/cup games, picked up their 3rd blank of the season. ARSENAL are still in 2dn place after they lost 1-0 at home to London rivals WEST HAM UNITED. Arsenal have picked up their 6th blank of the season as West Ham picked up their 33rd goal of the season. AFC BOURNEMOUTH lost 1-0 at home to Wolves and picked up their 7th blank score sheet. CRYSTAL PALACE won 2-0 away to Fulham and are on a total of 44 goals and have now scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games. IPSWICH TOWN lost 4-1 at home to TOTTENHAM and are on a total of 33 goals and have now scored in all of their last 5 league/cup games. Tottenham have taken their goals total to 66. MANCHESTER UNITED drew 2-2 away to Everton and are on a total of 48 goals. Bottom of the table SOUTHAMPTON lost 4-0 at home to Brighton and that is their 12th blank of the season. ASTON VILLA won 2-1 at home against CHELSEA and are on a total of 46 goals. Chelsea hit goal number 59. NEWCASTLE won 4-3 at home to Nottingham Forest and have taken their goals tally up to 63.
CHAMPIONSHIP
Leeds United are back on top with Sheffield United down to 2nd place. Both teams had no game over the weekend.
In the Play-offs we still have just one of the 4 teams and they are Burnley sill in 3rd place.
Meanwhile MILLWALL won 1-0 away to Derby County and are on a total of 40 goals and have now scored in all of their last 9 league/cup games. PRESTON NE lost 2-1 away to Coventry City and are on a total of 46 goals. NORWICH CITY won 4-2 at home to Stoke City and are on a total of 59 goals. PORTSMOUTH won 2-1 at home to QPR and are on a total of 43 goals. It’s 40 goals for SWANSEA CITY after they won 3-0 at home to Blackburn Rovers. OXFORD UNITED lost 2-0 away to WBA and picked up their 12th blank of the season and have now failed to score in all of their last 4 games. LUTON TOWN lost 2-0 away to Watford and picked up their 13th blank of the season.
LEAGUE ONE
BIRMINGHAM CITY remain top of the table this week after they drew 0-0 away to Reading and picked up their 4th blank of the season after a goal run of 10 league/cup games.
In the Play-offs we still have two of the 4 teams. In 3rd place we still have WREXHAM who have now scored a total of 50 goals after they won 2-1 away to Mansfield town. Wrexham have extended their goal run to 17 league/cup games. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN are still in 5th place after they lost1-0 at home to PETERBOROUGH UNITED. Huddersfield picked up their 9th blank of the season while Borough hit goal number 56 and have extended their goal run to 7 league/cup games.
Meanwhile BARNSLEY won 1-0 away to Rotherham Utd and are on a total of 49 goals. BLACKPOOL won 3-1 at home to Crawley Town and are now on a total of 57 goals. BOLTON won 2-1 at home to Leyton Orient and are on a total of 57 goals. CHARLTON won 3-0 at home to Exeter City and are now on a total of 52 goals.
LEAGUE TWO
The highest team that we have are DONCASTER ROVERS who have moved back up to 2place after they won 2-1 away to Accrington. Rovers are on a total of 54 goals. AFC WIMBLEDON are 2nd down to 3rd place after they drew 1-1 away to Colchester Utd and picked up their 51st goal of the season.
In the Play-offs we have just one of the 4 teams. They are NOTTS COUNTY still in 4th place, as they win 2-1 at home to Tranmere Rovers. County are on a total of 61 goals.
Meanwhile MK DONS lost 2-0 away to Bradford City and picked up their 12th blank of the season. BROMLEY won 2-0 at home to Harrogate Town and are on a total of 51 goals. CHESTERFIELD lost 1-0 away to Swindon Town and picked up their 8th blank of the season.
SCOTTISH LEAGUES
In the Premiership Champions CELTIC lost their second league game 2-1 away to Hibernian. They are on a total of 101 goals and have now scored in all of their last 10 league/cup games. RANGERS in 2nd place lost 2-0 at home to St Mirren and picked up their 5th blank of the season. KILMARNOCK lost 1-0 away to Aberdeen and picked up their 11th blank of the season. ROSS COUNTY won 3-1 at home to DUNDEE and are now on a total of 42 goals. while Dundee hit goal number 68. HEARTS won 2-1 away to St Johnstone and are on a total of 42 goals and have extended their goal run to 6 league/cup games.
In League One COVE RANGERS move to the top of the table after they won 2-1 at home to Dumbarton. Rangers are on a total of 47 goals. STENHOUSEMUIR in 2nd place won 2-0 at home against Arbroath and are on a total of 46 goals.
In League Two EAST FIFE are still top after they drew again 0-0 at home to PETERHEAD in 2nd place. Fife picked up their 6th blank of the season while Peterhead picked up their 9th blank score sheet. CLYDE lost 2-0 at home to the Spartans and have now had a total of 9 blank score sheets.

Our worst performing team is now BURNLEY this weekend as they have had a total of 14 blank score sheet from 36 league/cup games. They have a total of 47 goals.
Our highest goal scoring team that we have in our 42nd Season are MANCHESTER CITY after they won 8-0 at home to Salford City in the FA Cup 3rd Round in Week Twenty-Three.
GEOFF DOCKERILL our 1994/95 Champion, is celebrating his 8th weekend at the top after his teams picked him up a total of 5 goals from the week. Geoff’s teams are Arsenal, Celtic and Liverpool. Luke Hammond has moved back to second place, 4 goals behind Geoff. Luke picked up a total of 6 goals from the week and his teams are Celtic, Chelsea and Liverpool.
At the other end at 114 we still have CHARLIE FARLEY with his 15th consecutive weekend. Charlie’s teams picked up 5 goals again, all from the weekend. His teams are Kilmarnock, Ross County and Stenhousemuir.
