Liverpool Win Again

LIVERPOOL moved up to fifth place in the English Premiership last night as they beat Newcastle 2-0 at home. Like most of our top teams this season with Golden Goals, they are scoring very low. The two goals from last night’s game means that they are now on a total of 62 goals. They have a total of 18 votes out of 106.

Liverpool have been with Golden Goals in every single season and this one makes it their 32nd. In our very first season of 1983/84, they finished on a score of 103 goals. Their highest score came in 1985/86 where they finished on 127 goals. Last season they finished on 110 goals but this will not be their lowest score as they only picked up 61 in our 2010/11 season.
Over the seasons they have scored a total of 2653 goals which gives them an average of 82 goals per season to date.
