Still trying to catch up on
the football results for us, the big news from last night is that LIVERPOOL are through to the
Semi-finals for the FA Cup after they
finally beat Blackburn just 1-0 in the 6th Round replay. Liverpool
are now on a total of 60 goals and they will play Aston Villa on the 19th
April.
In Scotland CELTIC are now on 87 goals as they win
2-0 at home to Partick while in the Championship, Leaders HEARTS win 3-0 at home to Alloa. Hearts are getting nearer to that
100 mark with a total of 92 goals.
As you can see that we have had over 4,000 hits on the Golden Goals blog and I would like to say many thanks to all who take a regular look at the competition. Lets hope that it will start the rest of the world getting involved in the new season which will be our 33rd consecutive season in competition.
