Beat the Score

Beat the Score is just one way you can win some prize money here at Golden Goals and this is awarded to the first person who’s combination of teams score more goals than the current record of 18 goals at the weekend only.
Beat the Score was added to the competition way back in our 1989/90 Season. The score to beat then was a total of fifteen weekend goals. This was first held by Phil Mockler back from our 1985/86 Season before the prize money was set up.
Beat the score prize money this season will go to the person who can beat our current record holder of  18 goals scored by MARK RYMER’S combination in our 1998/99 Season.  Mark picked up the goals in week 29 of that season with goals from ARSENAL 5, CELTIC 7 and RANGERS 6. The prize money then stood at £15 plus the weekend prize money of £4 Mark won a total of £19 that weekend and he still holds the record.

This season you can win a total of £71 made up of Beat the Score prize money of £65 plus the weekend prize money of £6 with a score of 19 goals from any weekend. Good luck to you all!
