Leeds Top for Now

In the Championship LEEDS UNITED are top, for now, as they win 1-0 at home to WEST BROM who drop down to second place.  Leeds are now on a total of 19 goals while West Brom, after scoring in their first ten games, picked up their first blank score sheet of the season. BLACKBURN ROVERS drew 1-1 at home to NOTTINGHAM FOREST and they are now on 15 goals and have now scored in all of their last six games. Forest are now on 19 goals. SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY lost 1-0 away to Hull and that is their third blank of the season. MIDDLESBROUGH drew 1-1 at home to PRESTON to pick up their 12^th goal while Preston scored their 24^th. FULHAM picked up another four goals as they win 4-1 away to Reading. Fulham are now on 18 goals. STOKE remain bottom of the league after they lost 1-0 at home to HUDDERSFIELD. Stoke have now had three blank score sheets while Huddersfield picked up gaol number 9. BIRMINGHAM picked up their fifth blank score sheet after they lost 1-0 away to Wigan.
