Week Thirteen

In Week Thirteen of the competition we had our sixteenth winner of the season who won on a score of 11 goals. Our winner is RICKY MILES and he collects the full £6 cash prize money for this weekend.
This is Ricky’s first season with us but he did take part in our 2014 World Cup competition. This season Rick has picked up just two blank score sheets and this is not his first time reaching the number four spot. His best team is like most of you  is Celtic. Here are his teams

CELTIC 4, CHELSEA 4, MANCHESTER CITY 3

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Most of us picked up a goal or two this week and the race for the cash has changed. The player to pick up the most goals was STEVE MEDHURST who picked up a total of 14 goals from his combination. They came from Doncaster 7, Fulham 3 and Peterborough 4.
So in the lead with a total of 34 goals we still have COLIN WEBB (2). In second place now with 31 goals we have STEVE MEDHURST moving straight in. In third place down from two is EMMA SAWYER with 30 goals. In fourth place we still have RYAN WILLIAMS but he is now joined with SCOTT THOMSON (2) both with a total of 29 goals. In fifth place down from two we have STEVE STUBBS with 28 goals. In sixth place all on 27 goals we have ANDY EYLES down from three with JACQUI and RICHARD WILLIAMS.

WEEKEND RESULTS
We had ten of our teams with out a game over the weekend and another nineteen that failed to net any goals. So, remarkable as  it seems the weekends average score shot up from four goals of last weekend to 6 goals this weekend. Once again we can thank the Celtic/Manchester City combo as they picked up seven goals between them. But the good news is that we all picked up some goals once again.
The highest score that we had this weekend came from the English Premier League and the Scottish  Premiership with four goals each. They came from the Premier League, where CHELSEA  won 4-2 away to Burnley. Chelsea have now scored in all of their last ten games and they are now on a total of 30 goals.
