Another Three Points for City

In the Premier League Champions MANCHESTER CITY won 4-1 at home to WOLVES. City are now 15 points in front of rivals United who play tonight. City have now scored in all of their last twenty-one games and they are now on a total of 76 goals. Wolves picked up goal number 30. 

In the Championship, CARDIFF have jumped into the play-offs after they won 4-0 at home to DERBY. Cardiff are now on a total of 53 goals while Derby picked up their seventeenth blank of the season. MIDDLESBROUGH won 2-1 away to Coventry and they are on a total of 45 goals and now have a goal run of seven games. BIRMINGHAM drew 1-1 away to Huddersfield and that is goal number 26 for them. PRESTON lost 2-1 away to Millwall and they are on 45 goals. NOTTINGHAM FOREST lost 1-0 at home to LUTON and they have now had a total of fifteen blank score sheets. Luton are on a total of 34 goals. 

In League One, HULL have moved into second place after they won 2-0 at home to Rochdale. Hull are on a total of 59 goals. WIGAN lost 1-0 at home to CHARLTON and that is their thirteenth blank of the season as Charlton picked up their 49th goal. ACCRINGTON STANLEY lost 2-1 at home to Ipswich and they are on a total of 43 goals. CREWE drew 1-1 away to Blackpool and they are on 47 goals. PORTSMOUTH lost 2-1 away to Doncaster and are on 61 goals. LINCOLN CITY lost 2-1 at home to FLEETWOOD TOWN and they are on 63 goals to Fleetwood’s total of 43. PLYMOUTH picked up their eighth blank of the season after they lost 2-0 away to Northampton. OXFORD UNITED drew 0-0 at home to PETERBOROUGH to pick up their eleventh blank score sheet and now just one goal in their last four games. Brough picked up their eighth blank of the season. SUNDERLAND won 1-0 at home to SWINDON. Sunderland have now scored in all of their last thirteen games and they are on a total of 47 goals. Swindon picked up their thirteenth blank score sheet. 

In League Two, CHELTENHAM are top after they won 1-0 at home to SOUTHEND. Cheltenham are now on a total of 51 goals while Southend picked up blank number eighteen. HARROGATE TOWN won 1-0 away to Barrow and are on a total of 39 goals. After a tow game dry spell for goals, SCUNTHORPE picked up goal number 35 after they won 1-0 away to Cambridge United. EXETER drew 0-0 at home to Walsall and that is their ninth blank score sheet and now two in a row. BOLTON have now scored in all of their last eleven games as they win 2-0 away to Oldham. SALFORD CITY won 1-0 at home to Port Vale and that is goal number 42 for them. TRANMERE ROVERS won 1-0 at home to Newport and they are on a total of 48 goals.
