Week Four

In Week Four of the competition we had our tenth winner of the season and it is the first time that the £6 cash prize money was picked up by just one player.  Our winners won on a score of 10 goals which seems to be the weekends average winning score. One winner is our third new player to win and they are MARTIN CORBETT.
Martin has had a slow start to the season and this is his highest position to date. His best team is Aberdeen netting 11 of his total of 25 goals.

ABERDEEN 4, FULHAM 2, LIVERPOOL 4

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT
Most of us picked up some midweek goals for the race for the £40 cash prize money this season. The prize money will go to the first person to reach 100 goals from their three teams. We had just one player that picked up the most number of midweek goals this week with ten goals and they went to LUCIFER (John Wood). The goals came from Aston Villa five, Bolton three and Burton Albion two.
The leader has changed hands this week and so in front this week with 21 goals we have  JULIE SOMERVILLE who has Aston Villa, Celtic and Reading. In Second place we have LUCIFER on 20 goals. In joint third place both on 19 goals we have TONY GUY (2) and DAVE WOOD both down from second place. In fourth place all on 18 goals we have SIMON DICKINSON, M. DORAN, TONY KING, AMANDA MORRISON, GRAHAM PHILLIPS and JAMES PLATT.

WEEKEND RESULTS
We had some pretty high scores this weekend in our third full weekend fixture. We had three teams with out a game over the weekend with another sixteen teams that failed to score any goals.
