Can West Ham Survive?

In the Premier League, WEST HAM had a fantastic result in their bid to escape from relegation last night as they beat London rivals CHELSEA 3-2 at home. Even with a goal disallowed in the first half via VAR, and under pressure to win, West Ham spoilt Chelsea’s chance of moving up to third place. West Ham are now on a total of 39 goals after failing to score in their last three games. Chelsea are now on 72 goals and have now scored in all of their four restart games. ARSENAL won 4-0 at home to bottom of the table Norwich and they are now on a total of 64 goals. NEWCASTLE are now on 45 goals as they win 4-1 away to Bournemouth. It’s 50 goals for EVERTON as they win 2-1 at home to LEICESTER CITY. Leicester who have failed to score in their last two restart games, are now on 76 goals.

In the Championship, WEST BROM remained in second place after they won 3-0 away to SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY. West Brom had failed to score in their first two restart games and scored just two goals in their last five games. They take their goals total up to 72 goals. Wednesday picked up their twelfth blank of the season. HUDDERSFIELD won 3-0 away to BIRMINGHAM and they are now on 49 goals while Birmingham picked up their fourteenth blank of the season. NOTTINGHAM FOREST have now scored in all of their three restart games as they win 1-0 at home to Bristol City and that is goal number 57 for them. PRESTON lost 1-0 at home to DERBY to pick up their fourteenth blank while Derby are now on 61 goals and have now scored in all of their three restart games.
