The EFL say that the English teams might start their new season on 12 September this remains the
most likely option so far. as they finish off this season.

The New Season 2020/21
The
start of the 2020/21 Season could throw a spanner in the works for us here at Golden Goals. The Scottish
Premiership season will kick off on 1 August after receiving written approval
from the Scottish government. The Scottish FA board is discussing an
appropriate timeline for the phased lifting of its suspension for the other remaining
three SPFL divisions.
