Week Ten

Here we are with Week Ten of the competition and we are half way through the first half of the season. This weekend we see our second play to win twice this season and they are BARBARA BARNES (2). Barbara first won some cash in Week Seven with a shared Rollover with her second combo. But this time round Barbara has picked up the highest score of the season with 15 goals. Barbara first started with us back in the 2000/01 Season and finished with a total of 277 goals in 49th place. Last season she finished in the winning frame with her first combo in 5th place on a total of 318 goals. This season she has still had just two blank score sheets and we can see Barbara in her highest position to date with her personal best result. Barbara’s teams are

CHELSEA 4, MANCHESTERUNITED 3, RANGERS 8

100 MIDWEEK GOALS JACKPOT

We had a total of two players that picked up the most number of goals this week with six goals each once again. They are REBECCA HARRINGTON with her combo of Brentford, Charlton and Nottingham Forest and JOHN WOOD (Lucifer) with Accrington Stanley, Charlton and Preston. The race for the cash has had a bit of a change this week. PAUL MORAN (Mango) and BOB SAWYER remain in front with both on a total of 33 goals. In second place this week we still have JED WEARDEN with LOUIE HARRINGTON moving down from one. Also CHRIS SETFORD has moved up from four. They are all on a total of 32 goals. In third place we still have RAYMOND HARROD and MICK LIDDLE but they are now joined with LINDA ADKINS gown from two and A&A CLARK joins in the race. All are on a total of 31 goals. In fourth place we still have STEVE REEVE but I am now joined with BRADLEY CLARK and RICKY MILES coming down from three with HAYLEY ADKINS, D HUGHES and SANA-CARLA-LYANNA moving in. All of us are on a total of 30 goals.

WEEKEND RESULTS

This weekend we had just five of our teams without a game over the weekend with another twelve that failed to score any goals. The good news is that we all but one player managed to pick up some goals from our combo’s. The average score for this weekend moves up from just three goals from last weekend to 6 goals this week. The Highest score over the weekend was eight goals and they went to Scottish Premiership where RANGERS won 8-0 at home against Hamilton. Rangers have taken their goals tally up to 37 goals and they have extended their goal run to ten games. It’s our highest result of our 38th Season and they have a total of fourteen votes. Rangers became our fourth voted Scottish team in our first season of 1983/84. In that season they finished on a total of 97 goals. This is Rangers 37th Season with Golden Goals missing the 1985/86 Season. They have scored 100 or more goals in fifteen of their outings and their highest score came in the 1992/93 Season with 126 goals. Last season Rangers finished on a total of 77 goals in which became a stop and go season. Over the years they have scored a total of 3528 goals which gives them an average score of 95 goals per season to date. This season they have picked up just one blank score sheet and they have now scored a total of 13 goals in their last four games.
