Covid Taking it's Toll on Fixtures

It seems that the coronavirus is catching up with our football fixture here in the UK. We already had the Everton v Manchester City game cancelled on Monday night due to the virus, but last night another nine of our Golden Goals teams also had their games cancelled with signs of the virus. But with the games that were left in action, here are their results.

In the Premier league, MANCHESTER UNITED have moved up to second place after they scored a very late goal in their 1-0 home win against WOLVES. United are on 39 goals while Wolves picked up their sixth blank of the season. ARSENAL won 1-0 away to BRIGHTON and they are on 19 goals as Brighton picked up their fifth blank of the season. WEST HAM drew again but this time 0-0 away to Southampton. West Ham have now had three blank score sheets. LEEDS UNITED picked up another five goals in their 5-0 away win over WEST BROM. Leeds are now on a total of 31 goals while West Brom picked up their eighth blank score sheet.

In the Championship, DERBY picked up their biggest result of the season after they won 4-0 away to BIRMINGHAM. Derby have taken their goals tally to 15 goals while Birmingham picked up their second consecutive blank score sheet and now have ten for the season. MIDDLESBROUGH lost 2-1 away to Sheffield Wednesday and that is goal number 29 for them. LUTON won 2-1 at home to BRISTOL CITY and they are on 24 goals to City’s 29. NORWICH drew 1-1 at home to Q.P.R and that is goal number 31 for them. PRESTON won 2-0 at home to Coventry and they are now on a total of 36 goals. It’s 20 goals for ROTHERHAM as they lost 2-1 at home to Barnsley. CARDIFF lost 2-1 away to Wycombe and they are on 29 goals.
