WEEKEND
RESULTS
This
weekend we had just two of our teams without a game over the weekend with another
twenty-four of them that failed to score any goals. The good news is that most of
us managed to pick up some goals from their combo’s. That means that this
weekends average score went down from five of last weekend to just 3 goals this
week. The Highest
score over the weekend was six goals and they went to the Scottish Championship where HEARTS won 6-1 at home to Queen of the South. Hearts have taken their goals tally
to 29 goals. Hearts became our 11th Scottish team to join the competition which was
in our season of 1986/87. In that season they finished on a total of
72 goals. We had to wait till the 2014/15 Season for them to score their
highest amount of goals with 98. Last season (due to the covid season) they
finished on a total of 48 goals. This is their 14th Season with Golden
Goals and they have netted a total of 907 goals to date. That now gives
them a total of 64 goals per season. They have picked up just one blank score sheet at the weekend and
they have just one vote this season.
