In the other games of the Carabao/League Cup Quarter-Finals, we had all four of our teams in action. So we knew that only two of them would make it through to the next round. They were TOTTENHAM who won 3-1 away to STOKE. Tottenham have taken their goals total to 29 goals while Stoke hit goal number 29. MANCHESTER UNITED are also through after they won 2-0 away to EVERTON. United are now on a total of 36 goals while Everton picked up their third blank of the season.
In
the Scottish Premiership, RANGERS
remain top after they won 3-0 away to St Johnstone and they are now on a total
of 59 goals and look certain to be our first team to reach 100 goals this
season. CELTIC are still in second place after they won 2-0 at home to
Ross County. Celtic are still sixteen points behind rivals Rangers but they are
now on a total of 39 goals. MOTHERWELL drew 0-0 at home to ABERDEEN.
Motherwell have now had a total of seven blank score sheets to date while
Aberdeen picked up their fifth.
