As they picked up goal number 55, Cardiff are on a total of 48 goals and a goal run of eight games. PRESTON drew 0-0 at home to QPR and that is their fourteenth blank and now three in a row.
In League Two, SOUTHEND are out of the bottom two as they win 3-1 away to Forest Green. Southend are now on a total of 24 goals after they failed to score in their last two games.
