City Stay Top

In the Premier League, MANCHESTER CITY kept our top teams on their toes as they win again, 2-0 away to Burnley. Both of City’s goals came in the first half and they are now on a total of 56 goals. They have extended their goal run to fourteen games. LEICESTER CITY have moved up to third place after they won 2-0 away to FULHAM. Leicester are on 46 goals and they have also extended their goal run to eleven games. Fulham picked up their twelfth blank of the season. LIVERPOOL have drop down to fourth place after they lost 1-0 at home to BRIGHTON. That is Liverpool’s sixth blank score sheet while Brighton picked up goal number 33. WEST HAM won 3-1 away to ASTON VILLA and that has taken their goals tally up to 48 goals while Villa are on 42. LEEDS lost 2-1 at home to EVERTON. Leeds are on 37 goals while Everton are on 48.

In the Championship, BRENTFORD are now in second place after they won 3-2 at home to BRISTOL CITY after going a goal down. Brentford are now on a total of 60 goals and they have now scored in all of their last six games. Bristol are on 40 goals. ROTHERHAM won 3-0 at home to DERBY and they are on 32 goals while Derby picked up their sixteenth blank of the season. 

In the Scottish Premiership, RANGERS have kept their 23 point lead after they won 1-0 at home to St Johnstone. Rangers have now scored in all of their last twenty-five games and they are now on a total of 73 goals. MOTHERWELL won 2-1 at home to Dundee United and they are on 24 goals.
