FA CUP Fifth Round & League Results

In the FA CUP Fifth Round, we have two of our teams through to the quarter-finals and they are BOURNEMOUTH who won 2-0 away to Burnley and they are now on a total of 52 goals. MANCHESTER UNITED will join them as they win 1-0 at home to WEST HAM after extra time. United are on a total of 62 goals while West Ham picked up their fifth blank and now two in a row. 

In the Championship, CARDIFF won 2-1 away to ROTHERHAM and they are on 37 goals as Rotherham picked up their 35th goal and they have now scored in all of their last eleven games. 

In League One, ACCRINGTON STANLEY lost 1-0 at home to PLYMOUTH and that is their seventh blank and now two games in a row without a goal. Plymouth are on 50 goals and have extended their goal run to thirteen games. OXFORD UNITED won 2-0 away to Bristol Rovers and they are on a total of 44 goals and they have now scored in all of their last nine games. HULL drew 0-0 at home to LINCOLN CITY and that is their sixth blank and two in a row while Lincoln picked up their eighth. WIGAN won 1-0 away to Northampton and they are on 31 goals. PETERBOROUGH won 2-1 at home against Ipswich and they are on 43 goals. PORTSMOUTH won 2-0 at home to SWINDON and they are on 57 goals while Swindon picked up their twelfth blank score sheet and now just one goal in their last five games. SUNDERLAND lost 2-1 away to Shrewsbury and they are on a total of 35 goals and a goal run of eight games. After failing to score in their last four games, FLEETWOOD TOWN won 3-1 at home to Doncaster. Fleetwood are now on a total of 39 goals.

In League Two, SALFORD CITY won 4-1 at home to Cambridge Utd and they are now on a total of 38 goals. HARROGATE TOWN lost 1-0 at home to CHELTENHAM and that is their eleventh blank score sheet while Cheltenham picked up goal number 45. BOLTON drew 1-1 at home to Morecambe and they are on 34 goals. SOUTHEND won 1-0 away to Newport and they have moved up to second from bottom with a total of 21 goals. TRANMERE lost 1-0 at home to Stevenage to pick up their twelfth blank of the season.
