Week Twenty-Three

In Week Twenty-Three of the competition we had our twenty-fourth winner of the season winning on a score of 11 goals once again. It was MIKE HARRINGTON our joint 1997/98 Champion who picked up this weekends cash prize money of £6. Mike started with us back in the 1995/96 Season and it was not long before he became champion. Two seasons later in the 1997/98 Season, he became joint champion with David Salmon as they both finished on a total of 276 goals. They became the second pair to be joint winners and we have not had any since. Mike is ranked as 34th in our Champions League. Last season he finished in 101st place with 230 goals. This season Mike has picked up four blank score sheets at the weekends and this is the highest that he has been all season. This is his personal best score to date and his best team is Brentford. His winning teams are

BRENTFORD 4, MANCHESTER CITY 4, NOTTINGHAM FOREST 3
