Carabao Cup Third Round Part One

 

We have the first games of the Carabao Cup third round in which we had nine of our teams in action. Out of them seven have made it through to the fourth round. They are BOURNEMOUTH who won 4-1 at home to EVERTON. Bournemouth with their biggest result of the season, are now on a total of 21 goals. Everton picked up goal number 13 after two games without a goal. LINCOLN CITY are through after they won 3-1 away to Bristol City. Lincoln have taken their goals total to 26. BURNLEY won 3-1 at home to CRAWLEY TOWN and they are now on a total of 41 goals. Crawley are on 23 goals. LEICESTER CITY won 3-0 at home to Newport and they are on a total of 26 goals. MK DONS won 2-0 at home to Morecambe and they are on a total of 26 goals. CHARLTON drew 1-1 away to Stevenage  after going a goal down. Charlton won 5-4 on penalties. Charlton picked up goal number 34. GILLINGHAM drew 1-1 away to Brentford and then won 6-5 on penalties. Gillingham are on  a total of 10 goals. 

In the Championship SWANSEA drew 2-2 away to Birmingham and they are on a total of 29 goals. MIDDLESBROUGH won 3-0 away to Blackpool and they have taken their goals tally up to 27. HUDDERSFIELD won their fifth league game with a 2-1 away win against QPR. Huddersfield are on a total of 20 goals. SHEFFIELD UNITED picked up their 5th blank of the season as they go down 1-0 at home to Rotherham. LUTON lost 2-0 away to Stoke and that is their 7th blank of the season. WATFORD won 2-0 at home to READING. Watford are on a total of 28 goals while Reading picked up their 7th blank of the season. 

In League Two, AFC WIMBLEDON won 2-0 at home to Leyton Orient and they are on a total of 23 goals. BRADFORD CITY won 2-1 away to MANSFIELD TOWN and they are on a total of 26 goals. Mansfield are on 28. SALFORD CITY lost 1-0 away to Rochdale and that is their 7th blank of the season and now they have failed to score in their last three games. 

In the Scottish Premiership HIBERNIAN lost 2-0 at home to Ross County. Hibs have now had a total of fourth blank score sheets. ABERDEEN lost 2-1 away to Livingston and they are on a total of 48 goals and a goal run of six games.
