In the first game of the FA CUP first round, we had our first team in action. They were SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY who won 2-0 at home to Morecambe and they have taken their goals tally to 40 and have extended their goal run to eleven games.
In the Championship, READING played their second game in a week after their draw against Luton earlier in the week. Reading then lost 2-1 at home to Preston to give them their 22nd goal of the season.
In the Scottish Premiership, ABERDEEN have moved back into third place after they won 4-1 at home against HIBERNIAN. Aberdeen have taken their goals tally to 47 goals while Hibs picked up their 28th goal of the season.
