Midweek Update

In the Premier League, WOLVES won 1-0 away to LEEDS UNITED to pick up their 5th goal of the season. Leeds after a goal run of five games, picked up their very first blank of the season. WEST BROM drew 0-0 at home to Burnley and that is their third blank of the season and now two in a row. 

In the Championship, BRISTOL CITY lost 1-0 at home to MIDDLESBROUGH. City picked up their second blank of the season while Brough picked up their 9th goal of the season. SWANSEA drew 1-1 away to Coventry and they are now on 7 goals. DERBY lost 1-0 away to Huddersfield to pick up their 5th blank of the season. Derby have now had two blanks in a row and only one goal in their last four games. LUTON lost 2-0 away to Millwall and that is their 4th blank and now two in a row. Luton have scored just two goals in their last five games. NORWICH won 1-0 at home to BIRMINGHAM and they are now on a total of 7 goals while Birmingham picked up their fourth blank score sheet and now two in a row. NOTTINGHAM FOREST have scored again as they drew 1-1 at home to ROTHERHAM. Forest are now on a total of three goals while Rotherham are on six. READING won 1-0 at home to Wycombe and they are now on a total of 11 goals. CARDIFF drew 1-1 at home to BOURNEMOUTH and they are now on five goals to Bournemouth’s 10. PRESTON won 2-0 away to QPR and they are now on a total of 14 goals. BRENTFORD won 2-1 away to Sheffield Wednesday and they are now on a total of 18 goals and they have now scored in all of their last eight games. STOKE bring their goal tally up to 9 goals as they drew 2-2 at home to Barnsley. WATFORD won 3-1 at home to Blackburn. With their highest result to date, Watford are now on a total of 8 goals. 

In League One, ACCRINGTON STANLEY won 1-0 at home to FLEETWOOD TOWN to pick up their 10th goal of the season. Fleetwood picked up their third blank score sheet and now two in a row.  CHARLTON won 1-0 away to Blackpool and they are now on a total of 8 goals. PORTSMOUTH won 2-0 away to Gillingham and they are now on 12 goals. HULL won 1-0 at home to AFC Wimbledon and they are now on 13 goals and they have extended their goal run to nine games. LINCOLN CITY won 2-0 at home to PLYMOUTH and that takes their goals tally up to 21 goals. Plymouth picked up their second blank of the season. SWINDON lost 2-0 away to Northampton and that is their fourth blank score sheet and now three in a row. Its 10 goals for OXFORD UNITED as they win 3-2 at home against MK Dons. SUNDERLAND won 1-0 at home to CREWE and they are now on a total of 7 goals. Crewe picked up their third blank of the season. Its 10 goals for PETERBOROUGH, after they won 1-0 away to WIGAN. Wigan have now failed to score in their last three games and now have a total of four blank score sheets. 

In League Two, BOLTON picked up their highest result of the season as they drew 3-3 away to Barrow. Bolton are now on a total of 7 goals. CHELTENHAM have kept their 100% scoring record going after they won 1-0 at home to SCUNTHORPE. Cheltenham are now on a total of 14 goals while Scunthorpe picked up their fourth blank of the season and now two in a row. Its 10 goals for EXETER as they win 2-1 at home to Crawley. SALFORD CITY won 3-0 at home to SOUTHEND and the goals take them up to 12 while Southend picked up their fifth blank and now two in a row. TRANMERE picked up their fifth blank and now two in a row after they lost 1-0 at home to Leyton Orient. 

In the Scottish Premiership, ABERDEEN picked up their biggest result as they won 4-2 at home to Hamilton to take their goal tally up to 14.
